Position: Social Media Manager
Where: Seattle
What: Marketeering Group is looking for a detail-oriented individual to support their content team with energetic, engaging content on various social media networks. This person would work with a growing number of social media specialists to ensure consistency and effectiveness across all client’s social media networks.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the Content Marketing Director regarding client needs, special requests, and goals
- Set goals for consistent posts and growth for each client, depending on their needs and specialties
- Work with a team of social media specialists to ensure all clients receive their necessary coverage, and to lead the effort toward achieving goals
- Find and post original content on client social media pages, acting as the Pages corresponding with our clients
- Regularly “follow”, “Like” and “+1” other applicable Pages acting as the client’s Page
- Share content from the web and from other Pages on a consistent basis
- Reply to and engage with comments, discussions on client Pages and profiles
- Preparation of reports on social media activity and growth on a client by client basis (bi-monthly)
Requirements:
- Focused, detail-oriented work ethic
- Skilled at teamwork, with some management experience
- Excellent computer skills, Apple/Mac preferred (unless you can work from your own laptop)
- Strong knowledge and proven use of Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ (Pinterest and LinkedIn additionally preferred, but not required)
- Particular knowledge of Facebook use as Page; scheduling posts, interaction with other pages, managing engagement, etc.
- Attention to detail, minimizing mistakes
- Ability to think outside of the box for content and achievement of goals
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High School Diploma (partial undergraduate education preferred)
- Must be able to work from our office 2-3 days per week, for a total of 20 hours per week
