McDonald’s Makes New Space Landing Orbiting Space Needle

McDonald’s of Seattle Center has returned – with a brand-new space to call home. The new location on Broad St. is perfect for Seattle’s new flagship store with its emphasis on digital ordering as its location sits directly across from the Space Needle.

As part of the Grand Re-opening, the new ownership has contributed a $25,000 check to Mary’s Place, the local nonprofit in Seattle & King County that helps mothers and children experiencing homelessness get the shelter they need.

The new 24-hour location does not have a conventional drive-thru. It features mobile ordering and pay parking stalls and an outdoor walk-up window located on John Street for Seattleites and tourists picking up curbside and in-app delivery orders placed through the McDonald’s app.

This McDonald’s “digital only” experience also encourages all dine-in customers to order through a total of 10 kiosks with the help of a team of dedicated McDonald’s crew members. Dine-in service can also be accessed through the McDonald’s Mobile App which provides customers with special deals and loyalty rewards. The restaurant provides a welcoming hospitality experience to all customers dining in its spacious lobby, which seats up to 102 people.

The grand opening for this new location, which is being referred to as the “Times Square McDonald’s” of the Pacific Northwest, will include an expected guest appearance from Sammy the Sounder from Seattle Sounders FC, local dignitaries, and most importantly, local non-profit; Mary’s Place. [24×7]
