We have an exciting new temporary opportunity for a Senior Graphic Designer to join the Marketing & Communications team. This role will be responsible for creating, designing, developing and managing strategic marketing and communications projects and initiatives, including public awareness campaign (advertising), donor engagement and recruitment, fundraising, business promotional materials, company publications and other initiatives. This role will collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer, Director of Communications, and other business leaders.

Requirements for this position include:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor of Fine Arts, Design and Visual Communications, or Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising or related discipline.
• 10+ years cumulative experience including senior level roles in creative/design, brand development, identity, print and web design within an agency setting or in-house creative department/team.
• A strong portfolio available on request to demonstrate capacity to develop comprehensive brand –from identity and visual elements across business lines and through brand guidelines — to inspire consistent brand management.

Job Specific Skills:
• Demonstrated capacity to create, develop and implement campaigns across print, video, digital, and OOH platforms (transit, billboard etc.).
• Consumer retail and healthcare experience strongly desired, as well as thorough knowledge of online and retail marketing.
• Solid understanding of consumer behavior and B2B market dynamics.
• Strong organization and problem solving skills, with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects.
• Work closely and collaboratively with the marketing, communications, businesses, development and support teams to create marketing and communications campaigns across goals, and using a range of media channels (print, TV, radio, website, email, social media, retail, events, B2B and B2C marketing collateral, internal marketing, packaging, vehicles, etc.).
• Proficiency with use of graphics software (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver) and Microsoft Office, and mastery of graphic design principles (layout, typography, color, motion etc.)
• Excellent communications and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing priorities, working collaboratively with internal and external customers at all levels.

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Regular office hours with occasional overtime.
• Extensive close work; typing and computer/viewing monitor work.
• This position has indirect exposure to blood borne pathogens.

This is a full-time, temporary (approximately 18 months), exempt position based at our Central location in Seattle’s First Hill Neighborhood. Salary is DOE, DOQ.
