Position: Marketing Writer/Content Manager

What they need to help us achieve their goals is an experienced B2B marketing communications professional who can create the compelling content we need to attract and engage our prospects. First and foremost you must be a great writer, one who can take key messages and produce hard-working content in many different forms. You need to be comfortable writing web copy, white papers, blog articles and collateral, and ready and able to dive into sales presentations, video scripts and any other content needed to attract and win customers. Secondly you’re a smart content strategist that understands the crucial role that content plays in today’s buyer-driven world. You can put together a plan that leverages each piece you produce to the max and understand how to morph content from one type to another. Last and by no means least, you’re a great team player who will raise their hand and help get things done.
Responsibilities:
• Write compelling content in a myriad of forms including; white papers, product datasheets, case studies, demo and video scripts, blog posts, contributed articles, presentations, etc.
• Help devise winning content strategies
• Leverage / repurpose content from one form to another
• Manage an overall editorial calendar and content plan
• Own the production process from ‘soup to nuts’ managing external writers and design resources to get the job done
• Edit the work of internal and external writers to ensure that brand guidelines are followed
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of experience writing compelling B2B marketing content
• 5+ years of experience in the technology industry
• Portfolio of writing examples
• Working knowledge of the health insurance industry a definite plus
