What: Callison is an international design firm focused on the excellence of design and client service over a diverse range of projects. They are looking for a Marketing Specialist with responsibility for planning and implementing marketing efforts for specific practice areas/studios. This position collaborates with studio and marketing department leadership in the execution of marketing and communications strategies. This position is also responsible for leading the production and coordination of new business pursuits and marketing materials for specific studios. This position will work in Callison’s Seattle office.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads RFP and presentation strategy and development.
  • Assures quality of proposal submittals based on company practices, project-specific positioning and objectives.
  • Works with the Marketing Director and Studio Business Development Manager in the execution of marketing programs to accomplish marketing-related aspects of studio business plan.
  • Coordinates implementation of marketing plan with a diversity of client types.
  • Monitors and analyzes results against marketing program goals.
  • Interact successfully with professional disciplines and staff at a variety of levels.
  • Leads studio’s business development efforts.
  • Develops and maintains lead generation, qualifying, and tracking system.
  • Gathers and assess information on potential markets, clients, and projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, or communications or revenant field required.
  • Five years experience in a professional marketing role required. Professional services or design/architecture environment experience highly desired.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite, PhotoShop and InDesign preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines, completing tasks as previously defined.
  • Ability to work with integrity, trust and commitment, setting an example for others.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both verbally and in writing.
