What: Wavii is a 30-engineer startup located in the heart of Seattle, right near Pike Place market. We’re using big data and machine learning approached understand language on the web and build instant news feeds for any topic. We’re well funded by the founders of PayPal, Microsoft, Google, Napster, and more, and we’re looking for rockstar web developers to help us build HTML5/CSS3 mobile and web apps. Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript and the ability to write masterful CSS3 and HTML5 in your sleep
- Experience with application servers/platforms (Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Django, etc.)
- Experience with client-side MVC frameworks (Backbone.js, Ember.js, etc.)
- Enthusiasm for new and unfamiliar technologies
