Position: Marketing Rockstar

What: We are looking for a charismatic, motivated and energetic Rockstar to join our Marketing team. As part of the LevelUp team, you’ll work with local merchants and consumers to introduce them to our high-tech loyalty program (www.thelevelup.com) that uses game dynamics to reach new customers and drive repeat visitation. We hire passionate individuals who are excited to help build an amazing company.
Marketing Rockstars are responsible for successfully building a presence in the local metro market. This is a 3-month full time paid contract position that will allow you to work with local business owners, influence local consumers and epically grow our local market share. This position requires an incredible amount of energy, an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to adapt quickly in our every growing company. Not to mention, it also requires a good sense of humor!
We are headquartered in Cambridge, MA. This position will be based in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilties:
- Manage and Execute promotional events at local merchants
- Produce analytics reports for each event, summarizing success of marketing efforts
- Supply and replenish merchants with marketing materials
- Provide training to consumers on how to use LevelUp while visiting local businesses
- Develop, monitor and optimize content for local Twitter account
Background:
- Strong interest in mobile technology; iPhone or Android users preferred
- Solid technical aptitude, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt
- Should have interest in marketing, communications, sales or promotions
- Requires full time (40+ hrs) availability during regular business hours
- Three month contract begins February 2012
