Position: .NET Software Engineer
Where: Bellevue
What: We are looking for a .NET Developer to join the platform team. The platform team is responsible for providing API / services that abstracts health, wellness and activity data for a multitude of consumers – both web-based and mobile clients. The team focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and high availability of the mission critical account data and metadata. The senior engineer will join the team in the design, development, maintenance and monitoring of this software.

You are a seasoned developer in C# or Java
You have experience developing distributed, high-performance web applications and database systems
You are well-versed in SOLID principles, design patterns, SOA, OOAD and agile development best practices
You are competent developing REST-based web services APIs
You can write production quality SQL queries and stored procedures
You are result driven, guided by principles and best practices, and thrive in a fast paced, iterative development environment
You are a creative problem solver, and pay attention to detail

Responsibilities:

Develop features across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment
Investigate, analyze and make recommendations to the team regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modifications
Work directly with CTO, PM and the rest of a fun development team

Requirements:

BS degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or equivalent
5+ years of development experience with C#, .NET technology, SOA, OOAD and highly-scalable web applications and back-end infrastructure
Excellent technical and communication skills
Web development experience with AppFabric Cache, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript a big plus
