Responsibilities:

Research project and teaming opportunities
Lead proposal development strategy meeting
Coordinate with subconsultants for proposals that Wood Harbinger primes
Coordinate proposal development process including assigning tasks, scheduling development milestones including quality control reviews, tracking development to meet deadlines, picking up review comments, and coordinating/completing production efforts.
Preparation may include brainstorming, editing, writing, formatting/layout, proofreading, and production.
Assemble project sheets and resumes; work with Client Services Director and client champions to reveal client hot buttons and key concerns; work with * * * Technical Writer and technical staff for work plans, project approach, and other proposal narrative and graphic elements.
Coordinate with PM and client to schedule debrief meeting for proposal wins and losses. Record and distribute notes to the team.
Maintain current marketing collateral/data in CRM, including market sheets, capability sheets, top project experience lists, and reusable ‘knowledge’ narratives.
Coordinate marketing analytics reports and presentation of information.
Internal and external communications support
Industry award submittal coordination
Internet research on prospective clients, projects, subcontractors, industry, trends, etc.
Industry event and public relations planning and coordination – advertisements, materials for trade shows, speaking engagements, and direct mail campaigns.
Support business development efforts.
Performing additional support and/or administrative tasks, as required.

Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience, preferably in A/E/C environment
4-year degree (liberal arts, marketing, communications, or other relevant discipline)
An understanding of the A/E/C industry, including business approaches, relevant trade organizations, publications, conferences, and events.
Writing and copywriting skills are critical, including the ability to proofread, edit, and rewrite to strongly convey themes and/or firm messaging.
Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight.
Excellent communication skills and professionalism with a variety of personalities, office leadership and clients.
Technical production skills are preferred, including ability to effectively use database applications, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign).
A sense of humor. We work hard but we have fun doing it.
Strong team ethic. Willing to pitch in and do what needs to be done for the success of the company.
An ingrained sense of responsibility, accountability, and desire to achieve highest quality, no matter how big or small the task.
Strict priority given to both quality and deadlines.
Capable and willing to work independently or collaboratively with a diverse team, including our Client Services Director, Marketing Technical Writer, * * * Graphic Designer, Principals, Project Managers, Engineers, and Designers.
Not afraid to ask questions or seek clarification and able to successfully apply knowledge gained in future applications.
A passion for details and aesthetics, especially related to visual presentation of information.
Creative and proactive approach to all tasks, ideas, and customer service for both internal and external customers.
An ability to be flexible or firm in regards to processes. Recognize the appropriate times for each approach.
