What: At Labelmaster, it’s our job to stay ahead of DG shipping regulations and take the complexity out of our customers’ lives as they try to get these shipments out the door. But it takes a lot more than just slapping on a label to move dangerous goods. That’s where you come in. We need experts in a large variety of areas—from manufacturing, warehousing and software development to consulting, product management, marketing, sales, customer service and more. Our offices in Chicago, Elk Grove, IL and Seattle are always looking for the right people to ensure dangerous goods are always handled the right way.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Front End (UI) Developer to help our team to continue to deliver an intuitive, industry-leading software platform for companies that stage or transport Dangerous Goods.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of front-end design and development skills
- Solid understanding of HTML 5, CSS3, LESS/SASS, Ajax and JQuery or a similar JS framework
- Strong coding experience with Angular JS , Bootstrap framework or a similar responsive design framework
- Solid working knowledge of Photoshop or similar design tools
- Strong knowledge of design principle, issues and techniques
- Experience with optimizing website performance especially with respect to browsers
- Proven ability to complete rapid prototyping, and deliver/support production-quality code
- Familiarity with Java or C#
- Ability to debug issues in a full-stack environment
- Knowledge of JS build script e.g. Gulp, Grunt
