Who: Marketing Manager – Email

What: The ideal fit is the person who knows email like the back of their hand but aspires to have broader impact across the customer acquisition funnel. Since Ritani is a start-up, the marketing team (well, all two of them) is looking for the team player willing to wear many hats. The majority of your time will be spent building a world class email program from scratch but you should be excited to pick up an opportunity and run with it in such areas as affiliate marketing, SEO, or some other interesting customer acquisition tactic that might come along.
Responsibilities:
- Craft the overall email strategy to support e-commerce and the brand
- Develop the overall email communication waterfall from transactional messaging to campaigns
- Partner with development team to implement and optimize the email infrastructure
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison for all things email
- Champion email initiatives throughout the company
- Aggressively build the company’s email house file
- Generate repeat customer revenue through email
- Tackle other customer acquisition opportunities outside of email as they present themselves (think affiliate programs or other means of paid traffic acquisition)
Requirements:
- A Bachelor degree. Emphasis in marketing, business or related fields is a plus
- Strong digital marketing prowess and passion for customer-centric solutions
- 5 years experience building and implementing email marketing programs for a consumer-focused company
- Experience with email service providers, email marketing tools, and web analytics
- Willing to roll up sleeves, dig in, and get things done in a collaborative environment
- Excited by effectively communicating results and gathering input from other stakeholders
- Comfortable with unknowns and willing to test rapidly to find the right answer
- Able to operate and motive independently with particular attention to detail
