Position: Marketing Operations Campaign Analyst

Where: Seattle

What: Projectline is looking for talented people that will be working directly with one of their largest clients. Clients need insights from the results of their marketing campaigns, and Projectline’s biggest clients need to understand how these campaigns perform in subsidiary markets all over the world. Projectline consultants not only help clients set up campaign tracking and marketing execution directly with their field marketing community, but working internally across the company, Projectline also helps to analyze the resulting data and spot trends that provide guidance to improve campaign tracking performance to the business stakeholders. This role will work in a fast-paced marketing centric environment, interfacing with local clients, global marketers, and/or their channel partners, to execute their various ROMI tracking initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates execution of marketing campaign setup activities, and reports on activity status
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients data systems and reporting needs
  • Apply data system and reporting knowledge proactively to clients, to improve subsequent marketing campaign visibility
  • Focus on documentation, building timelines, and overseeing a marketing campaign from start to finish
  • Project Management focus with a knack for organization and proactive “ownership” of client needs
  • Facilitates weekly campaign progress reviews with stakeholders
  • Provides consultative review of campaign performance for clients
  • Communicates clearly with marketing teams, vendors, and partners
  • Routinely multi-tasks across multiple projects and marketing campaigns, using existing tools and communication skills to manage project information and deliverables
  • Uses marketing analytic tools to track and report data

Requirements:

  • B.A. in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related 4 year degree.
  • 3-6 years of experience working in a Marketing, or related role working with marketing analytics
  • Rigorous attention to detail • Previous consulting experience managing client relationships highly preferred
  • Experience working in the technology industry is a plus
  • Technical proficiency in data management, reporting, and communications
  • Proficiency in project management fundamentals, PM certification a plus
  • Independent, resourceful, and an entrepreneurial approach to work
  • Previous experience working with partner channel incentive programs is a huge plus
  • Familiar and adept with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Office, SharePoint and Outlook (certification a plus, or equivalent classes)
  • Comfortable with SharePoint and CRM tools (Dynamics preferred)
  • Previous experience working for Microsoft (contractor or FTE), or with the Microsoft Partner community, highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability and/or develop understanding to interact/manipulate database and perform basic queries and automated workflows a plus (SQL and/or SP)
