Located in Renton, Microscan is a growing and globally profitable company. We currently have an opening for an experienced and talented Online Marketer.

The Online Marketer will use a hands-on approach to apply their knowledge of marketing and online experience to create compelling online experiences that engage conversations with prospects and customers, and drive website/campaign conversions which contribute to the sales pipeline. The Online Marketer will drive all online marketing for Microscan including: global websites, traffic acquisition, metrics and analytics, online promotions, user experience, and technical deliverables for marketing campaigns (email, landing pages, etc.).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Global Websites:

Owner of company websites, from architecture and user experience to content management, traffic generation and visitor conversions.

Use web authoring tools and marketing automation to create online experiences and elements such as web content, emails, landing pages, user experience, and navigation.

Develop and optimize use of video marketing program.

Traffic Acquisition, Inbound and Search Marketing:

Maximize web presence across search engines by leading initiatives for continuous improvement to organic SEO and PPC campaign results. Perform keyword analysis to optimize web page searches, and create and optimize search PPC campaigns such as Google.

Optimize inbound links through content marketing and social media as sources of site traffic and targeted search results.

Metrics and Analytics:

Collect and analyze website and campaign analytics data. Develop and maintain dashboard reporting of web analytics and online campaigns.

Use tools such as web analytics, marketing automation, and CRM systems for continual improvements in effectiveness and conversions.

Online Promotions and Campaigns – Partner with Vertical Market teams:

Work with team members across organization to identify opportunities for new content and experiences that will strengthen Microscan brand and accelerate sales cycle. Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with both internal staff and external business vendors.

Develop and execute an online customer acquisition plan designed to drive targeted prospects to site traffic and maximize conversions.

Manage multiple web initiatives and marketing campaigns of varying scope and complexity, focusing on engagement to build awareness and sales lead pipeline.

Lead technical implementation of online campaigns to support product launches, promotional programs, and marketing campaigns.

KEY COMPETENCIES

– Hands on experience with online marketing campaigns, website design/development, inbound and search marketing.

– Proficiency with website analytics, SEO/SEM reporting and analytical tools.
– Training and/or experience with both CRM and marketing automation platforms, with preference for Salesforce.com and Marketo.

– An interest in continuous learning to keep current in new technologies and implement process improvements.
– Proficiency with HTML, web authoring tools, and social media. – Training or experience with Google tools.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Specialized certifications or degree in related online or marketing such as web marketing, content marketing, revenue marketing, inbound marketing or a Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience to meet ideal candidate qualifications.
