The company designs, manufactures, distributes and markets reliable, state-of-the-art medical devices and services to the health care community that offer meaningful improvement in patient care. Under the direction of the Associate Creative Director, the Graphics/Interactive Designer works independently and collaboratively, from concept through completion, on a wide range of projects: ads, direct mail, trade show graphics, Web,/social media, and other marketing communications materials. Functions as a key player on a global marketing team, delivering outstanding creative solutions for both traditional and digital media. 
Responsibilities:

• Helps develop branding for new products, including naming, positioning, graphics, and related brand elements
• Conceptualizes and designs creative projects, including logos, ads, direct mail, trade show materials, collateral, digital assets; manages project elements as assigned, from concept through completion
• Designs/develops new web pages, html emails, user interfaces for CD/DVDs
• Facilitates additions/updates of marketing content on Verathon Web site and microsites
• Participates in and facilitates production of photo and video shoots, and digital assets, as needed
• Helps implement/manage social media initiatives and reports
• Collaborates with the Marketing Operations and IT teams on various projects, as assigned by Associate Creative Director
• Helps maintain company and brands graphics standards and maintain image/asset archives
• Solicits production estimates/quotes and negotiates contracts with printing, illustration, photography and other vendors
• Helps ensure high production standards with print vendors, publications and other external resources

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in creative design/development
• Outstanding portfolio showcasing success creating ads, direct mail, videos, digital assets, etc.
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant software, such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word). AfterEffect and Html5 a plus
• Web and digital media design (e.g., apps, social media, E newsletters, etc.); and familiarity with web development
• Proven ability to simultaneously produce multiple projects, under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with maintaining brand identities, graphics and standards for established brands/products
• Must be a creative problem-solver, team player, and brand advocate
• Minimal travel, as required
