As part of our IT team the Software Developer is responsible for creating new software products while updating and maintaining existing products to enable Novinium to maintain its technological edge.
Responsibilities:
- Create software with customer focused features.
- Refactor current business applications to improve quality and stability
- Enhance current business applications with new features
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure system needs are met
- Respond in a positive an timely manner to customer requests
- Analyze current programs to ensure code is accurate
- Analyze current programs to ensure code is efficient
Requirements:
- 5 or more years’ programming and software development experience with a strong background in web based MVC
- 5 years’ experience with MS SQL Server including database design, stored procedures and views required, with experience in C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Experience focusing on V4 with the Razor view engine is ideal
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. BS Degree in Computer Sciences preferred
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming
- Experience with Reporting Services (SSRS and SSIS), ASP.NET MVC, unit tests and Agile methodologies preferred
