Position: Senior Network Engineer
Where: Seattle
What: In this position, the ideal candidate will maintain and help us improve our network infrastructure. The qualified candidate will have a strong network engineering background, primarily with cisco products. Because we work on the bleeding edge of a lot of technologies, we look for individuals that problem solve creatively, learn quickly and work productively both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Define standards for network engineering and security
- Build and maintain configs for all network devices
- Accurately document the network infrastructure
- Maintain and operate multiple datacenter locations
- Collaborate with Engineering and QA teams to meet SLAs
- Participate in on-call rotation
Requirements
- Experience with Cisco UCS product line
- Expert level knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- Experience with high availability designs in high SLA environments
- Experience with multiple firewall and vpn products
- Well versed with F5 load balancing products
- Strong IOS experience
- Experience with deep packet inspection tools
- Experience with a myriad of monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix and Cacti to name a few
- A deep desire to squeeze out as much performance as possible
- BS/BA/MS+ in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
