Luum’s customers include blue-chip corporations, large hospitals, property developers, universities, and municipalities.

We are looking for an experienced principal-level software development engineer highly capable of leading design and development efforts of a growing portfolio of Luum customer experiences. Your many talents and accomplishments include:

Responsibilities:
You are able to provide elegant solutions to complex technical challenges that are readable and clearly understandable by peers who may come across your code in the future.

Your technical solutions deliver on the defined set of customer requirements with a high degree of quality, are flexible to accommodate future enhancements, but do not attempt to solve every conceivable problem that could theoretically arise.

You are able to successfully coach and provide feedback to other engineers on the team.

You are able to take independent ownership of end-to-end execution of your assignments andparticipate as an active member of the agile engineering process.

You are able to engage customers and end users, able to carefully listen and understand how to improve existing features and address future customer requirements.

You are able to interact constructively with your peers and other senior leaders, learn from other team members, and help make the collective team better.

You thrive in an occasionally ambiguous environment.

Requirements:
You must have at least 7 years of experience and demonstrate exceptional proficiency developing on the Microsoft platform including .NET, Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, ASP.NET, IIS, and Team Foundation Server.

You must demonstrate a high degree of competence and depth in the principles of computer science, such as would be obtained in a quality bachelor’s degree computer science program.
