We are looking for a Sr. Developer with a focus on Data Processing & Service APIs. This position is a key contributor to our Accessible Data Team. The primary mission of this team is to create innovative ways to leverage our cloud infrastructure to enable our customers to access, use and work with data.
Responsibilities:
Love to contribute to a team that is solving complex data processing and service layer problems.
Love to work on highly scalable data technologies such as Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Elastic Search
Love to work on robust service layer technologies such RESTful APIs, JSON, and other web APIs
Excited to leverage the cloud infrastructure of AWS (Amazon Web Services) to create new market changing solutions
Understand and practice the “lean” approach to build what is needed with high quality and high efficiency.
Excel at collaborating with vision owners, and teammates that are experts in their areas
(bonus) Have experience building large scale, ETL, or other data extraction solutions.
(bonus) Have experience building enterprise-level financial systems.
(bonus) Have experience building healthcare solutions.
Requirements:
4 to 5 years building service layer solutions (i.e. Web Service APIs.
3 to 4 years working with an object oriented programming language: C#, JavaScript, etc.
3 to 4 years working with large data driven environments (relational databases, such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL is OK)
1 – 2 years working with Cassandra
