Position: Research Analyst

What: As a Research Analyst, you will spend the majority of your day-to-day finding the answers to questions. You will be responsible for researching new product verticals to figure out what matters and help transfer that knowledge to the team. Additionally, you will lead data requirements for products to successful completion, which includes the discovery, analysis, and documentation of requirements, process flows, quality measures, testing, and training plans. The scale of the data varies and quality is core to Research.com’s mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Drill into a given product type to determine every detail and feature in existence.
  • Conduct web research and collect data across a variety of different verticals.
  • Conduct research via email and phone to get the answers not available on the web.
  • Investigate and analyze data quality issues.
  • Research and determine scope and complexity of issues as well as identify steps to remedy the issues.
  • Executes data cleanup measures, which may include data entry or delegating to the appropriate team with a recommendation for correction.
  • Act as a team player, routinely facilitating the exchange of ideas and helping to bring ideas to action.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Master’s Degree preferred)
