Position: UI Developer & Designer

What: You will join Array’s team of developers and work closely with our UX, Client Services, and Sales teams as Array continues to expand its SaaS platform.
Responsibilities:
At Array, you will:
- Be a critical part of the development team, bridging the user experience effort with platform development and implementation. Using first-class code, you’ll bring the front-end designs to life while binding them into our SaaS offering.
- Turn UX wireframes, prototypes, and pixel mockups into high-quality application interfaces using HTML 5, JavaScript, and CSS. Your interfaces will be flexible and support both traditional and mobile device browsers.
- Solve design challenges through work with a variety of teams and functional areas.
- Establish UI best-practices for our SaaS platform within the context of the diverse users we serve: employers, employees, retirees, brokers, and health insurance companies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a web developer
- Mastery of XHTML, CSS 3, and JavaScript
- Proven experience in developing web applications as well as planning and coding user interfaces as part of a product development team
- The ideal candidate will have robust experience developing innovative web software interfaces. Other useful skills and experience include:
- Expertise in developing on Microsoft ASP.NET
- Expertise in binding web front ends to business layers or other back-end systems
- Section 508 compliance and accessible design techniques
- Expertise in web application security design, modeling, and best practices
- Expertise in building dynamic web 2.0 applications (AJAX, jQuery)
