Responsibilities: This Manager is responsible for and manages the successful execution of online technology and web development strategies.  This individual provides leadership and strategic vision in the use of web technology as a primary client interface; and also maintains, supports, and upgrades existing web applications.

You will manages and lead the Web Services team members by coordinating and monitoring task distribution, providing mentoring and training, and evaluating team members through the Zenith performance appraisal process.

Successful candidate will also:

Be responsible for hiring new team members.

Ensure web development and maintenance is cost effective and completed in a timely manner.

Participate in the development of team goals and objectives for the department; recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance online design, technology and web development.

Communicate effectively with management, vendors, business stakeholders, technology teams on an ongoing basis regarding project status.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in information technology field with increasing levels of technical leadership responsibilities.

Possesses solid foundational technical knowledge of one or more web frameworks such as .NET, ColdFusion, PHP, etc.

Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to develop a web services strategy appropriate to the business need.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and leadership skills to collaborate and partner with Zenith personnel in the management of web services development projects.

Ability to build a web services team to support ongoing operations of existing services and development of new services.

Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as RAD, Agile, spiral, waterfall, XP, etc.

Effectively works and collaborates with internal team members, vendors, and stakeholders.

Recognizes quality design and development materials, provides constructive feedback, and validates development products.

Ability to supervise, train and develop employees to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.

Meets deadlines and handles diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization and delegation.

Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.

Employs innovative problem solving techniques to accomplish objectives.

Some programming experience desirable.

Claims processing and/or benefits administration experience desirable.
