Tommy Bahama, the purveyor of island lifestyles, is looking for a qualified Web & Consumer Insight Analyst to join our team.  The Web & Consumer Insight Analyst is primarily responsible for developing an analytics program that enables continuous measurement and optimization of all key aspects of Tommy Bahama’s eCommerce business. In addition, this person will also assist with strategic research, Ratings & Reviews, and reporting activities.

Responsibilities: The Web & Consumer Insight Analyst is primarily responsible for developing an analytics program that enables continuous measurement and optimization of all key aspects of Tommy Bahama’s eCommerce business. In addition, this person will also assist with strategic research, Ratings & Reviews, and reporting activities.

You will:   Define and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reporting packages and dashboards to enable the eCommerce team to continuously measure and optimize business performance in all key functional areas, including: online customer shopping behavior, site merchandising effectiveness, and marketing effectiveness.  Serve as the team’s resident expert on the use of Coremetrics and other available analytics tools, ensuring that the eCommerce teams employ analytics best practices in the design, execution and tracking of the online storefront and marketing vehicles. Manage continued development of Coremetrics initiatives. Manage care and feeding of Coremetrics solution. Objectively deliver insights and help create a culture of data-driven decision making. Alerting the team of any sudden shifts in the business. Developing A/B and multi-variety testing programs.
Delivering ad hoc analyses to answer key business questions. Identifing trends and opportunities, including clickstream, liveview and onsite search recommending ways to improve the business. Help lead market research, customer satisfaction and other qualitative or quantitative research projects.
Manage relationships with external solution and service providers as needed Work with eCommerce team to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities to drive growth, including brand building, promotional strategies, site functionality, business partnerships, product assortment, market expansion, etc.

You will work in close collaboration with eCommece buying, planning, marketing, online merchandising, production and finance teams to achieve the group’s overall eCommerce business and financial goals. Manage Ratings & Reviews. Develop reporting and highlight opportunities to Merchants and Marketing for site content, image or copy changes, and recommend reviews to be used in Paid Search, Facebook, e-mail.

Requirements: 3-5 years experience working with web analytics for an online retailer or similar Internet-based business.
Strong proficieny with web anaytics tool, Coremetrics, preferred.
Familiarity with industry best-in-class benchmarks for Key Performance Indicators relevant to the online retailing business.
Experience in strategy consulting or market research a plus.
Strong quantitative analysis skills and advanced Excel skills a must.
Knowledge of database analytics tools preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Ability to work with colleagues and external parties through a positive, collaborative, and transparent inter-personal approach.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Ability to anaylze data, identify trends and make specific, measurable, and relevant recommendations.
Proven ability to proactively identify business issues and develop creative solutions.
Able to effectively present analytics data to business users within all levels of the organization.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
