Position: Public Relations Manager
Where: Seattle (Downtown)
We are expanding our award-winning public relations team, and we’re looking for a strategic and results-oriented PR manager to drive various PR programs for Zillow.com and Zillow Mobile. This means product positioning and key messages, PR planning for product/feature launches, and a deep strategic and tactical grasp of media relations and social media.
As the ideal candidate, you’ve done PR for a consumer Internet brand (Mobile apps are a plus) and count tech reporters and bloggers among your best contacts. You are organized, energetic and can’t imagine a day without twitter or your smart phone.

This is a significant opportunity to be a part of a recognized brand that was built on PR and social media. You will interact closely with Zillow executives and be in the thick of some of the most exciting years in Zillow’s history.


Being a leader — owning PR plans and projects from start to finish.

• Developing and maintaining relationships with key technology media and bloggers.

• Working on multiple projects simultaneously, while managing and keeping track of all deliverables, dates and follow-thorough.

• Working with various business teams on new product and feature launches.

• Writing messaging documents, press releases, fact sheets and pitches.

• Serving as company spokesperson on select announcements.

• Working closely and collaboratively with a team of other talented PR pros.


• 5+ years public relations experience with a consumer Internet Web brand or clients; PR experience with mobile apps a plus.

• Keen understanding of social media and its role in brand awareness and PR.

• Experience managing projects and teams.

• High level of organization and attention to detail.

• Proven communicator – written and verbal.

• Combination of excellent analytical skills with the ability to think big and be creative.

• Capability to work calmly and quickly in fast-paced and changing situations.

• 4-year college degree in journalism, communications or other related major
