Welcome SMX Advanced to 5th Consecutive Seattle Sell-Out, Plus VC Angels Award $100K in the Seattle Outfield!

Welcome Search Marketing Expo Advanced!

For the fifth year in a row, the premiere “SMX”  Search Marketing Expo Advanced Conference that is focused on “advanced training on cutting-edge topics in search engine marketing,” kicks off at Seattle’s Bell Harbor Conference Center this week. Throughout its history as a Seattle born-and-bred event, SMX Advanced has featured breakthrough announcements and strategy-changing analysis from the leaders in search engine marketing,

Just two years ago at SMX Advanced 2010, Microsoft’s Bing lit up the Seattle Space Needle by announcing its debut as a new “Decision-based search engine,” with Yusuf Mehdi announcing Bing’s startup and the misson behind it.

This year, Microsoft’s Bing is announcing amazing new social integration features with a national advertising campaign that puts social “in its place” and challenges Google to explain the heavy baggage and requirements of making Google+ the center of your business and local world.

Google’s voice on these topics is software engineer Matt Cutts who will be returning to Seattle and SMX Advanced in 2012 once again as the head of Google’s web spam team.

Matt will participate in an always popular and engaging “You&A” format keynote, in which he’ll bring attendees up to speed on the latest in Google advances and address questions from the SMX Advanced audience.

This year, in addition to the main symposium, SMX Advanced will continue an extra day on June 7th with special courseware for those who wish to gain specialized knowledge on  Local Search Development, with a Facebook Marketing Intensive,  or through an International Search Summit.

While the main conference has always sold-out early, workshop seats may still be available up to the day of the workshops.  Check in at http://searchmarketingexpo.com/advanced/workshops to save a place. [24×7]
