We are delighted to invite you to the launch for the Seattle VR Art Fest and Tournament. This is drawing and sculpting in Virtual Reality, no prior experience required!

Mingle and get to know others in the VR art community, see and experience VR art hand-drawn by immersive artist, enjoy music made in VR by TribeXR and explore Virtual Reality Art works.

Participate to make VR art or just serve as a spectator to mingle and connect with other VR artists and watch others make hand-drawn environments made in VR.

All drawing participants will be able to compete in a tournament for making the most immersive VR art environment.

Each participant has 45 minutes to draw to give everyone the same amount of time and advantage.

The event will take place at Beyond Reality

The event will be a gathering to mingle and get to know others in the VR art community, to see and experience VR art hand-drawn by immersive artist, and listen to music made in VR powered by TribeXR. You are welcome to participate to make VR art or just serve as a spectator to mingle, connect with other VR artist, and watch others make hand-drawn environments made in VR.

There will be two awards given. One will be for a Tilt Brush newbie, and another will be given to an experienced Tilt Brush user.

Gather, Party, Music

This will be a fun event for participants to watch and see newbies and experienced Tilt Brush users are remixing and creating environments hand-drawn in VR. While getting to mingle and connect with new people inside or new to the VR art community.

During the event we will even have a live DJ broadcasting via Twitch making electronic music entirely in VR powered by TribeXR.

Contest

2020 Global VR Art Fest and Tournament which as of now takes place in 11 cities across the globe including Toronto, Boston, New York City, Melbourne, Sydney, and more. The winner of the Seattle VR Art Fest and Tournament will get to have their work featured on a Times Square billboard, a residency at Beyond Reality, and get to compete in a grand prize tournament for the global contest.

The contest is focused on drawing environments and landscapes in Virtual Reality.

We will give awards for newbies to VR art, and an award to those with experience making art in VR.

Scobot is a Seattle based immersive artist that uses Tilt Brush to hand draw environments that can serve purpose for exploration and to experience.

Nathan DiPietro

Nathan DiPietro is a digital artist and painter exploring emerging virtual reality based art creation tools, photogrammetry, and digital modeling, alongside his traditional painting practice. Focusing primarily on botanical and natural environments he creates a tenuous and complex beauty in which technological tools interpret biological natural forms.
