What: INRIX is seeking a talented, passionate Senior Program Manager on our Mobile team. Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate is results-oriented, collaborative, assertive, organized and is committed to delivering amazing work in a team environment. You will be responsible for delivering mobile products and services as a Product Owner of the Mobile Cloud Services team. As a Product Owner, you will work with UX, Mobile Client teams, INRIX services groups and other POs to deliver on key scenarios for the next INRIX Traffic application. As a Product Owner, you will work with customers to determine needs and/or deliver custom solutions. You will review internal processes, make continual recommendations for improvements and set vision, values, methods, and metrics for the team.
Requirements:
- You’re experienced in Cloud Services development, and can ramp up on complex engineering challenges with ease.
- You’re a master communicator – it is a key strength of yours and you can communicate complex problems in simple, easy-to-understand language to a variety of audiences – engineers, partners, customers, designers, salespeople and executives.
- You’ve worked with a number of external clients before, and understand their expectations for understandable costs, regular updates on projects, etc.
- You have deep engineering experience, and can guide the team to create the right layers between reusable cloud platform components and core product experience.
- You’ve seen products get into trouble in every way imaginable, and know how to avoid these pitfalls on your future projects.
- You’re an expert in Agile engineering process and can prepare and communicate product roadmaps that are based on weekly agile sprint delivery cycles.
- Proven results as a Product Owner in short sprint cycles.
- You have a history of working through ambiguity to create great products.
- You can constantly push our product forward and our team to achieve more than they thought they could.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science (or a great reason for not having one).
- 6+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience delivering cloud services through AWS.
- Prior experience as a developer is a plus.
