Projectline is hiring for a Senior Interaction Designer that will define the customer experience of product applications and services through proven design methodologies. They bring both user and business requirements to life via user stories, detailed and comprehensive wireframes, task flows, prototypes, and requirements that effectively conceptualize and communicate information architecture and interaction behaviors.
To be successful in this role, the Senior Interactive Designer will have will have a track record of success at design agencies and/or Fortune 500 companies and will have a true passion for innovation and design. The Senior Interactive Designer will excel at driving design solutions and is be well versed in all stages of the design process. Understanding the balance of user experience, business case and time-to-marketing is just as important as knowing when to make trade-offs where appropriate.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with usability specialists, visual designers, content strategists and engineering teams to create, verify, implement and maintain interaction designs
• Create ideas with UX craft, while refining and documenting
Requirements:
• 4-6 years working as an interaction designer or information architect for mobile device, web or software applications
• Strong presentation skills are a must, candidates should be passionate about their ideas and sell their work
• Mobile experience preferred, although critical
• Visual Design skills are a plus
• Solid understanding of the fundamentals of user interface design
• Should have experience working through the entire product life cycle and be familiar with user-centered design methods
• Knowledgeable of best practices on all major web-based interfaces
• Blend of big picture design ideas with detail orientation and obsession for creativity
• Proficiency with Visio, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint required
• Clear, organized writing, communication and presentation skills
• BA/BS in HCI or related field or equivalent work experience
• Prior work designing for small-screen devices — mobile preferred
• Experience with HTML and Flash is a plus
