Position: Senior Developer
Where: Seattle
What: We are seeking a hands-on senior developer who has a passion for building. You should be able to attract and manage talent, pick the smartest technologies and architect a product for the future that is also flexible to enable testing and adaptation to market needs and user signals as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with the Founders to continue building the vision, architecture, team, technology stack and platform.
• Recruit, hire and lead the technology team, and current, contractors.
• Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business.
• Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation, development, and deployment of all technology services.
• Communicate the company’s technology strategy to investors, management, staff, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
REQUIRED:
• Must have previous startup experience (ideally at a successful e-commerce start-up.)
• Must be hands-on and entrepreneurial.
• Must be completely committed to building an elite company
•Full-Stack Web Development, Database Programming and Administration, E-commerce Technologies, Product Development, Web Development, Front End Development.
•The Glamhive Platform API architecture is built using Java 8, Spring MVC for REST API support, persists to a MongoDB and runs on Amazon AWS. The Glamhive site is a single-page AngularJS UI with Bootstrap for styling. Mobile apps for iOS and Android are hybrids built with Apache Cordova, Ionic and AngularJS.
