Responsibilities: What you’ll be doing … As our Product Marketing Manager, you will be on the front lines of Tableau’s marketing efforts, writing the white papers and web content that will convince a prospective customer to learn more about a product that is 10 to 100 times faster than alternatives. You’ll help define Tableau Public’s cloud, and will work across the marketing team to optimize programs and bring new services to market. Creativity is a requirement and we’ll be looking to you for new approaches and insights. You’ll have the opportunity that few companies can offer, to imagine new ways to market cloud services and then bring those concepts to life. More specifically, you’ll lead Tableau’s cloud marketing efforts across all marketing programs, from SEM to events to webinars and new vehicles. You’ll work with beta customers to develop customer cases and videos, Position and launch new products, and represent Tableau at events.

 A strong communicator. You love the idea of sharing the Tableau story. You have exceptional writing skills that emphasize storytelling and learning, not jargon. You also have strong presentation skills.

 Experienced. You have 4+ years experience in a product management or product marketing role, and you are familiar with the business software selling cycle. You have experience working with SaaS and cloud-based products.

 Educated. You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred. You are proficient in Excel and are excellent with databases and enterprise software.
