What: Working on a startup idea but don’t know the first step? Or the next step? Did you just complete a Startup Weekend, #SocEnt Weekend or other hackathon and wondering what comes next? Have you thought of a must-have product or service, but have no idea how to get from idea to startup? The Next Step will be your guide, taking you step-by-step through the process from raw idea to operational startup. Based on the book of the same name, author Michael “Luni” Libes will guide you step by step through the process of planning and executing your business. The workshop series is five weeks long, covering the whole contents of the book, from idea to customer, market, opportunity size, financial planning, fund raising, pitching, and more. Limited tickets are available for single workshops. Attendees will get far more out of the workshops by attending all five weeks. As this knowledge is useful across social enterprise, clean tech, software/”tech”, etc., the workshops are going to be held at both HUB Seattle and SURF Incubator. November 12th and 19th at HUB Seattle. November 26th and December 3rd at SURF. And December 10th back at HUB Seattle.
