Social Innovator SHOWDOWN! – SIFP Finals Are Thursday October 18, 4:45 PM

Social Innovation Fast Pitch is a high-energy event where nonprofit leaders and social entrepreneurs connect with investors and philanthropists.  With a total of $150,000 in grants and investments to be had, Fast Pitch finalists will have 5 minutes to present their new ideas for social impact.

Seattle’s premiere Social Innovation Showdown happens on October 18, 2012 at 4:45 PM when Finalists from SIFP will compete at Fisher Pavilion, Seattle Center, 305 Harrison St., Seattle, WA 98109.   Last year sold-out!  Don’t miss this event.  Reserve your ticket now!

Nathan Myhrvold will deliver the keynote address. Dr. Myhrvold is founder of Intellectual Ventures, creator of the Global Good program, and author of Modernist Cuisine: The Art and Science of Cooking, winner of the prestigious James Beard Award.  The Global Good program, a collaboration between Intellectual Ventures and Bill Gates, partners with leading humanitarian organizations and forward looking organizations to conceive, develop, and deploy inventions that save lives.  He is also a member of United Way’s Million Dollar Roundtable and a regular contributor to local Seattle arts and education non-profits.
