Seattle Ethereum’s First Cypherpunk Speakeasy!

May 28 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$10

Get ready – it’s Seattle’s first Cypherpunk Speakeasy! We will be using burner wallets loaded with dai to buy drinks and listen to some awesome speakers. Haven’t used a burner wallet before? It’s the easiest, most user-friendly onboarding experience to using crypto. These events have been held all over the world and we are excited to bring it to Seattle! All you need to do is buy a ticket ($10) and we’ll give you a burner wallet at the door (first 40 people). https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cypherpunk-speakeasy-seattle-tickets-61506869703

He will talk about participating in the Ethereum Community, the ETH1x roadmap, and how anyone can learn to participate in the community.

Brooklyn is the author of a number of Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), and participates in the Core Dev process, including leading the EVM Evolution Working Group.will talk about IPFS and how FISSION is using it to build “hostless” apps.

We will also have Kurt Barry, a software engineer at MakerDAO, give us a primer on Dai, the crypto we will be using for payments.

You won’t want to miss out! Because we are a meetup group organized by community members, we will need to charge a small ticket fee of $10 each to offset the costs of this event. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cypherpunk-speakeasy-seattle-tickets-61506869703
