MITEF NW Enterprise Forum: High Tech to Smart Grid — How Technology Entrepreneurs Can Find Opportunities in the Smart Grid Revolution

November 10, 2010 @ 5:00 pm - 8:15 pm

$40.00

The smart grid is a vision for the future of our electricity system that bears a strong resemblance to a digital network. This sector is attracting millions in investments and billions in federal funding. Anticipated to be a convergence of technologies from thousands of suppliers, the smart grid will serve the 5,000 utilities and others that make and sell power. It will also serve millions of homes and businesses. How can Northwest technology entrepreneurs translate their strengths into new opportunities in this high-profile arena? Our presenting entrepreneur, David Kaplan, founder of V2Green, and a panel of experts including Michael Davis of PNW National Laboratory and Michael Atkinson of Alstom Grid, will offer their expertise on the topic.
