FUNdamentals for startups: Mentorship Models

Tamara Power-Drutis will speak about “Round 2 of Mentorship Models.” Paul Wagner and Binh Vong from the UW Entrepreneurial Law Clinic will speak about “Consultants vs Employees (NDAs, etc).

Tamara Power-Drutis is the Executive Director at Crosscut, and a 2016-2017 Reynolds Journalism Institute Fellow researching innovative methods for engaging news audiences. Crosscut Public Medi is the Pacific Northwest’s reader-supported, independent, non-profit electronic journal. Like Crosscut, Tamara believes that an informed public is essential to solving the challenges of our time. She is a Jackson Leadership Fellow, and serves as a Trustee of the World Affairs Council, where she served on the board of the Young Professionals International Network for five years.

With a background in strategic partnerships and communication, Tamara is the former Communications Coordinator at the University of Washington’s Center on Reinventing Public Education, a research and policy center developing system wide solutions for K–12 public education.
