Seattle Robotics Society Monthly Meeting

November 17, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Che Edoga, a robotics teacher at Oak Harbot High School, will present on walking robots built from 3D printed parts.
An SRS Robot workshop will follow the meeting. Workshop Host: Carol Hazlett. This month we are going to have an interactive demonstration of our Workshop robots doing a “follow the leader” figure eight formation. Everyone who has a BOE-Bot of any type, please bring it in. The more the merrier! Set up your robot to follow something in front of it using IR, laser or ultrasound sensor. I will have the lead robot so you won’t need to program a figure eight just the following behavior. If you need any help or even need parts we will have all of that for you to get your robot going. I will bring code for the Basic Stamp, Propeller and Arduino, and extra sensors and resistors so anybody can do this. The goal is to make a train of robots doing a big figure eight for the Parallax Figure Eight Challenge which is in the Parallax Forum.
