How to Plan a Roadmap in Open Source by T-Mobile Sr Tech PM

September 11, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Being a Product Manager requires structured and organized thinking. Frameworks and toolkits are a handy and effective way to approach problems. Product Managers will learn about many and develop their own throughout their product careers.

Main takeaways:
– Communicate your process clearly to internal and external customers
– Tools should serve you, not otherwise (GitHub, Product Management tools, backlogs, etc.)
– Keep moving, keep changing

Meet the Speaker: Aly Owens

Aly is a seasoned Agile Project Manager with excellent working knowledge of multiple agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban. Her passion lies in building and improving products to benefit people, especially when combining art with hi-tech.
