Consumer Attitudes about AI & Mobility

February 8, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

At CES 2018, technology vendors plastered “Artificial Intelligence” (AI) across a raft of new products. Soon we’ll all ride in self-driving cars, view the outside through augmented reality (AR) glasses, and call on our virtual assistants to attend to our every need. It’s a seductive idea. But is this what consumers *really* think about AI?

According to PricewaterhouseCoopers, more than half of surveyed consumers agree that AI will help solve complex modern life problems, while helping people live more fulfilling lives. At the same time, close to half of consumers believe AI will take away jobs, and nearly a quarter believe AI will accelerate a Hollywood-style doomsday scenario.

What are consumers trying to say in the current climate? Are organizations even asking them the right questions about AI? How should professionals think strategically about AI given today’s data?

Join us on February 8 for an exploration into consumer attitudes toward Artificial Intelligence, with a special focus on next generation mobility. John du Pre Gauntt, a former eMarketer and Economist Intelligence Unit analyst, will provide an overview of some of the latest market research into consumer attitudes toward AI. This presentation will set up a Town Hall discussion into what organizations can start doing now.

There will be snacks and light refreshments available to enjoy
