What: Franchise Myths Busted: A Short-Course Based in Reality

As a career transition coach with The Entrepreneur’s Source, Bob Hale provides those who may be interested in independent business ownership with an objective, in-depth and interactive look at franchising as a valid option for their consideration and exploration.

In his franchising short-course Bob debunks many common myths about franchising as he provides factual, objective information about many facets of franchise entrepreneurship.

Takeaways:

Course attendees will:

  • Understand how and why nearly one million people are franchise entrepreneurs in the U.S.;
  • Learn about the varied and diverse backgrounds of franchise entrepreneurs;
  • Have a systematic approach (“discovery” and “validation”) for evaluating franchise business models in relation to their personal goals, needs and objectives (income, lifestyle, work style, long-term wealth and equity in a business owned);
  • Learn about the breadth and depth of franchise businesses, which include some 4,000 models across some 90 industry sectors;
  • Learn about franchisors’ views of their industry, the legal aspects of franchise agreements and about various franchise financing options;
  • Learn why most franchise companies prefer that franchisees coming into their business model not have a specific background or experience pertaining to their business or industry sector.
