Responsibilities:

We’re seeking an experienced Visual Designer to join our award-winning UX design team and take Bonanza.com’s interface and visuals to the next level. The ideal candidate is a talented visual artist with a technical mind and a knack for Web or mobile app design. You should be just as excited to draw icons as you are to redesign some of Bonanza’s highest-traffic pages and interactive tools.

We’ve already built Bonanza.com into a leading person-to-person marketplace, but we’ll never stop making it even better. Some things you’ll be responsible for might include:

Propose and design creative solutions and improvements to existing site UI/UX

Design and mock up variations of static and dynamic Web pages and mobile screens

Create new graphics for the website, blog, mobile app, and other properties

Take direction from Lead UX Designer to work within the target styles and aesthetics

Collaborate with the Software Developers that will be implementing your designs

Regularly review customer feedback and use it to inform design decisions

Requirements:
2+ years of experience working with UX Designers and Developers creating visual design for interactive systems

Proficiency with Photoshop, Balsamiq Mockups or other common prototyping tools

Design, artistic, typographic, and layout abilities

Excellent communication skills

Enough understanding of HTML/CSS to have a grasp of what is possible and what is not

Strong portfolio to show off your UI aesthetics and experience

Instantly likable personality, with a great sense of humor

Entrepreneurial sprit, strong “get sh*t done” approach to work
