We are looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Manager to build and manage customer acquisition marketing for sales-managed leads. As part of this role, you will work at the strategic level to champion bold and innovative ideas and at the tactical level to develop messaging, design multi-channel campaigns, execute test plans, and iterate based on performance metrics.

You will employ a heavy bias towards marketing automation to drive new customer acquisition. You will also collaborate closely across multiple teams both in and outside of marketing, including BI and product management.


  • Participate in defining and execution of customer acquisition strategy
  • Build automated campaigns to drive scalable prospect nurturing and customer acquisition
  • Partner with sales teams and field marketing to deliver sales-ready marketing qualified leads
  • Develop and execute A/B test plans to optimize performance and drive lift in conversions
  • Seek out ways to utilize automation to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Work cross-functionally with our BI and tech teams to define and maintain scalable and repeatable methods of measurement and performance tracking for campaigns

Basic Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in marketing, marketing operations
  • Marketing automation experience (Pardot, Marketo, or Eloqua preferred)
  • Experience working with industry tools, including email, web analytics, content management system(s), and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience managing end-to-end demand generation campaigns, with emphasis on marketing automation preferred
  • Ability to write test plans, proposals, manage S&T approvals and POs

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills. You must be very comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree
  • Experience in B2B, high-tech products/services
  • Experience with SQL a plus
  • Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on schedule
