To help us fulfill this mission, we are looking for a smart, customer-obsessed and analytical Direct Marketing Specialist to help grow our digital video business globally and create innovative and engaging email experiences for customers.

As the Direct Marketing Specialist, you will be part of Amazon Video’s International Marketing team and be responsible for driving a best in class customer experience in Amazon Video’s new territories by executing launches of new movie and TV content globally, building engagement campaigns for maximum performance, identifying new opportunities based on customer and business data, and managing creative assets.

This role will focus on direct marketing channels, with an emphasis on email, along with push notifications. The right person will be a passionate advocate for movies and TV shows and possess exceptional skills in project management and marketing. Our environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple projects at once in a deadline-driven work environment.

In this position, candidates will:
Own email and push campaigns from end to end – manage targeting and segmentation, messaging, content and design, planning, build and execution as well as reporting on individual campaign results and bigger picture trends.
Work with translation resources to develop marketing content in multiple languages.
Maintain brand and channel standards with stellar attention to detail.
Create, test, and optimize email templates.
Track email best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations.

Basic Qualifications 
BA/BS required
3+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing and/or email marketing
Experience using and editing HTML for email templates and campaigns
Familiarity with email best practices, industry trends, and CAN-SPAM laws
Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Comfortable with a varied set of software and editing tools, ability to learn new tools quickly
A strong working knowledge of Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications 
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data to develop and measure campaigns
Experience writing customer-facing content
Experience using SQL and similar queries to extract and analyze data
Ability to think both strategically and tactically; comfortable doing both kinds of work
