Position: QA Analyst

Responsibilities:

Adhere to standardized QA policies, processes and documentation standards. Oversee and/or participate in all aspects of project testing, oversee IS QA test environments, provide technical guidance to less senior QA team members, and ensure schedule adherence for assigned projects. Participate in requirements & use case reviews. Provide accurate estimates for QA resources and testing schedules. Create and gain project approval on project test plans. Create and/or oversee the creation and approval of project test cases. Oversee or generate all QA-related documentation. Ensure adherence to standardized QA policies, processes and documentation standards. Execute test cases and adherence to test schedule. Coordinate onshore and offshore testing. Help mentor and develop other members of the IS QA team. Become familiar with source code, version management, and code deployment standards and utilize this knowledge to ensure that QA processes and procedures for test environments are followed and that the integrity of the various environments is not compromised. Generate weekly QA status reports.

Requirements:

Four (4) years of experience in a software quality assurance or related role, which includes:

• Testing in one or more of the following environments: IBM I-series, Windows Server, UNIX, AIX, SAP, WebSphere Commerce, n-tier client/server, and RDBMS environments.
• 3 years of experience using: (1) HP, Mercury, IBM, or other industry standard SQA tools; and (2) MS SQL Server or DB2.
• 2 years SQA experience: (1) working within an iterative development framework; project management experience, including scheduling via M.S. project; and (2) C# and/or JavaScript.
• Working knowledge of typical SDLC and SQA methodology.
• Demonstrated ability to produce software test plans and test case.
• Demonstrated understanding of build tools and software configuration management standards.
