We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team, and design and build new features for our SolarAnywhere® solar prediction products. This is a big data, big compute problem. We start with satellite imagery and apply world-leading scientific algorithms to calculate and forecast how much solar energy hits the ground, everywhere.

SolarAnywhere is used in numerous ways by the solar and energy industries, including helping utility grid operators integrate renewables onto the grid, and enabling enterprise-scale solar companies to understand the performance of their systems. This is a great opportunity to use your software skills to do something with a positive impact on the world.

This position has a primarily back-end focus (in C#, although having background in other programming languages is just fine) developing algorithms, analytics, web services and tools. This position also has some exposure to front-end web development in Javascript and JQuery.

Requirements:

7+ years of professional software development experience.
Superior programmer who consistently delivers tight, finely crafted code.
Product cycle experience from inception to delivery.
BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
C#/ASP.NET/SQL/web services experience is a plus but not required.
