What: Affirma is seeking a Sales Engineer for a client of ours who is a leading provider of software-based communications solutions that enable mobile service providers to deliver high-quality internet protocol (IP)-based voice, video, rich communication and enhanced messaging services to their subscribers globally. Their software platform has enabled leading mobile service providers to introduce the industry’s first live network deployment of Voice-Over-LTE (VoLTE) and the industry’s first live deployment of next-generation Rich Communication Services 5.0 (RCS). Their solutions deliver next-generation services such as RCS, VoLTE and Voice over Wi- Fi (VoWi-Fi) over existing 2G and 3G networks and next-generation 4G LTE networks.

This position will be responsible for providing consulting expertise to the sales organization in understanding a customer’s business needs, defining a differentiated solution based on product portfolio and communicating our client’s unique value proposition.

Responsibilities:
• Work with Account Directors to define sales strategy for entry into new , strategic customer accounts
• Articulate capabilities and value proposition to the customer
• Create, update, customize sales collateral for specific customer requirements and sales opportunities
• Work directly with sales as a product and technology expert to align company portfolio to meet customers’ requirements
• Provide solutions oriented, architecturally based, executive consulting expertise to the customer
• Respond to customer RFx’s and provide pricing proposals
• Work with the customer to define the vision and goals for a given project
• Map and communicates customer’s business challenges to our client’s solution capabilities

Requirements:
• 10+ years telecom experience, working in the mobile industry
• Expertise in mobile industry trends and relationship to business models
• Technical expertise across 4G mobile technologies: LTE, EPC, IMS, VoLTE, RCS/RCS-e
• Functional knowledge across operations, marketing, pre-sales, product management and pricing
• Ability to communicate persuasively; excellent presentation skills
• Bachelor Degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
