Position: Senior Level Software Developer

What: We’re looking for a senior level software developer with strong object-oriented coding skills to join our mobile team. More than half of all homes viewed on Zillow were viewed on a mobile device last quarter.
Responsibilities:
- Work on the two most popular mobile platforms today: iOS and Android
- Build applications that help our users buy their own homes and then get the most from them
- Be involved at all stages of application development, from UI design to final testing
- Work on an ongoing basis with Program Managers and Testers in a collaborative team environment
- Write flexible, robust, highly-readable code using OO best practices
- Have fun!
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of software application and systems development experience
- A proven track record of high productivity in application, architecture, design, coding, debugging
- Strong experience with Java, Objective-C or C++
- Technical expertise in Ajax, XML, Web 2.0 application frameworks, tools and technologies
- Exposure to integrating RESTful APIs and web services with applications
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks with limited need for supervision
- The ability to work in a fast, agile and nimble environment with frequent change
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience in developing mobile consumer software applications is a plus, but not required
