Position: Android Developer

Are you passionate about mobile? Would you like to help design, architect, and implement unique and captivating mobile experiences at scale?We’re looking for an experienced, disciplined software developer to join our Android development team and help us explore and extend the capabilities of our strategic mobile application content platform.
Responsibilities:
- Champion the notion of doing things the “Android-way” and creating the best phone and tablet application experiences
- Actively participate in application architecture and design discussions affecting multiple platforms
- Create high quality, reusable code that can be shared across applications, including SDK and library development
- Create internal and external/user-facing technical documentation
Requirements:
- 3+ years mobile development experience using the Android SDK
- 5+ years software development with proven design and architecture skills
- HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript exposure and familiarity (hands-on experience is a plus)
- Organized, self-motivated and detail-oriented with a proven track record of shipping quality software
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, learn from your peers and mentor others
- Productive on both milestone and feature driven projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Mobile development experience on iOS is a big plus
- Enthusiasm for cross-platform development and the latest mobile technology
- User interface design and development experience
- Experience in database and network programming
- Experience with native and web application metrics
- Experience with encryption and best practices in software/application security
