Position: Marketing Segement Manger

Where: Seattle

What: As a key member of the B2B marketing team, you will be critical in achieving bookings goals for your segment by formulating and executing integrated marketing plans to drive demand. You have proven success driving integrated marketing campaigns that generate leads and ultimately build meaningful pipeline for a highly successful software sales team. You will define and execute the marketing segment strategy. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives on balancing creativity, tactics and analytics to drive demand. You will report to the Director of Demand Generation.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy: You will lead demand generation planning efforts for your segment, including helping to form overall strategy, producing new and nurtured lead generation goals and forecasts, managing the budget and measuring overall results against plans.

Campaign Execution: You live to achieve your marketing qualified lead and pipeline targets. You understand that to meet those targets you will plan and execute marketing programs including email campaigns, webinars, tradeshows, digital display advertising and marketing with 3rd parties.

Communications: You love to collaborate with content marketing to drive prospects into the lead funnel. Together you will optimize email copy, web landing pages and other program-related collateral that drive conversions.

Lead Nurturer: Are you happiest when a nurtured lead reengages? You will initiate and manage lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospects moving through the demand generation funnel.

Reporting and Analysis: You love using data to gain insights, solve problems and plan strategies. You will analyze project performance and company impact then drive insights and recommendations to improve performance.

Budget Master: You are always on top of your budgets. You can track and report on campaign costs, performance and ROI so as to understand channel and offer performance.

Cross Functional Teamwork: You don’t like to work alone. You enjoy partnering with others in sales, content marketing, product marketing and sales operations to ensure generated leads are high quality and being acted on appropriately.

Requirements:

Strategist: You’ve mastered managing marketing campaigns from concept through completion that drive leads. You have 5-7 years’ experience in B2B software marketing with a BS in Marketing, Business or related field.

Sales Focused: You have previous experience collaborating with a highly driven sales team as demonstrated through solid understanding of sales pipelines and enterprise software sales cycles.

Communicator: You’ve created an extensive collection of collateral and marketing communications. Your excellent written and oral communication skills are top notch.

Go Getter: You have a high motivation with a sense of urgency and willingness to adjust in a fast-paced environment. You are capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization.

Motivated: You are a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative technology environment.

Detail Oriented: You have a keen attention to detail with exceptional analytical and organizational skills.

Technical: You are very savvy in email marketing. Prior use of Marketo or other marketing automation tools is a plus. You also have experience with Salesforce.com.

A True Team Player: You have the ability to coordinate resources across sales and marketing functions and build rapport with sales team and other professional staff.
