Position: UI/UX Designer
Where: Tacoma
What: This position is responsible for developing creative UI/UX concepts for websites and web applications. The person in this role will work directly with other SiteCrafting operation teams to represent creative ideas. This position will be responsible for creation of UX assets as required and will be expected to present these to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of web technology and responsive design
- Solid cross browser implementation understanding
- HTML
- SAAS and CSS3 expertise
- Javascript
- Grid layout understanding
- Desire to keep abreast of design trends and industry influences
- Organized and self-driven
- Opinionated and passionate about great UX Design
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative UI/UX concepts for websites and web applications
- Collaborate on user experience planning with UI/UX Manager
- Partner with designers and developers to design, code and prototype innovative UX solutions as required
- Create wireframes, user flows, functional specs and mockups to present to stakeholders
- Work directly with UX, Design, Project Managers, Development and others to represent creative ideas, and prototype, test and iterate
- Switch gears quickly and able to work on multiple projects at once
- Research and keep current on technical tools and design software
