Position: Product Information Specialist – Solar

The Product Information Specialist is responsible for creating, maintaining, and driving strategy of the overall content and product information management for AEE Solar’s eCommerce platform. By utilizing sound knowledge of Oracle Commerce platform and Endeka for eCommerce application, this role will drive the migration/consolidation of our digital and product marketing information published in electronic formats. The Product Information Specialist is also responsible for the production of catalog content, management of cross-reference data and maintenance of eportal publishing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the data integrity of AEE’s eCommerce system, ensuring the content framework meets the need of all internal and external stakeholders.
Evaluate and measure content management system effectiveness and report findings to management including content inventories and gap analyses promoting continuous improvement.
Recommend changes to content programs and processes to achieve goals.
Develop standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address strategic data issues such as product data quality, cleansing, standards, and integration.
Work with key members of the management team to define and drive technical strategy and architectural direction for ATG-based ecommerce platform
Collaborate with content owners to define scope, deliverables and develop processes supporting the eCommerce site.
Optimize all relevant product content aspects of ATG implementation for system functionality and integration with multiple external systems, middleware interfaces, etc.
Collaborate and communicate with different teams and triage technical issues across teams
Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Education, Certifications and Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline
5 years’ experience in Marketing, preferably a product background, and with an emphasis in digital or online marketing
2+ years of experience with Oracle Commerce (ATG) and Endeka platforms
Ability to organize broad information from numerous sources into cohesive, usable and effective content for publishing
Exhibit the desire and ability to drive improvements in productivity and quality
Strong analytic, problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and maintain a high level of productivity
Demonstrated track record of success in e-commerce related development
Excellent copywriting and editing skills
Sharp focus on detail, accuracy and accountability
Must be able to build strong relationships and work in a deadline-driven environment, collaborating effectively within Shared Services and multiple business units and departments
