Position: Front End Web Developer
Where: Redmond
What: Are you a JavaScript or TypeScript enthusiast? Can you be independent, and make the “right” decisions with little direction?
Responsibilities:
• Implementing web pages in HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript, in order to ensure that web pages match the comps delivered by the UX Design Team and Program Management
• Changing existing web pages to ensure that they conform with required designs
• Cross-browser verification
Technical skills:
◦ HTML and CSS — expert skills
◦ JavaScript or TypeScript — advanced skills a BIG PLUS!
◦ Experience with jQuery, Knockout.js, JavaScript unit testing highly desirable
◦ Experience with cross-browser development required
◦ Experience with REST API’s
The ideal candidate will be able to:
• Work with a team (UX designers, other front- and back-end developers)
• Work in an agile, fast-paced, and changing environment
• Deal with ambiguity, and a sense to “do the right thing” when specifications may not be complete
